To attend any in-person Event offered, hosted, or sponsored by Connection Feast, you agree to the following terms and conditions in our COVID-19 Policy (our “COVID-19 Policy”) and our Terms & Conditions (our “Terms”). Any Capitalized terms used herein and not defined shall have the meaning in our Terms. 

COVID-19 SAFETY INFORMATION:

We take public health very seriously. While participating in any Event, you must practice COVID-19 containment measures consistent with the latest guidelines given by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), including, but not limited to, adequate handwashing and hand sanitization, practicing “social distancing,” and the wearing of face coverings. 

Because COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is spread mainly from person-to-person contact, Connection Feast has implemented preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. However, we cannot guarantee that our participants, volunteers, partners, employees, staff, or others in attendance will not be exposed to or become infected with COVID-19.

By attending an Event, you represent and warrant to us that:  

•    You are not currently experiencing, and have not experienced within the past 14 days, any symptoms currently associated with COVID-19, including, but not limited to, fever, cough, and shortness of breath; 

•   You have not traveled, at any point in the past 14 days, either internationally or to a domestic city or county that is experiencing a sustained community spread of COVID-19; 

•    You have no reason to believe that you have been exposed to any suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19; and

•   You have not been diagnosed with COVID-19, or if you have been diagnosed with COVID-19, you have been cleared as no longer contagious by state or local public health authorities or the healthcare team responsible for your COVID-19 treatment and care. 

•   You will stay apprised of and practice all current CDC guidelines as well as any mandates by the state and local government in which the Event is held. Please view the current mandates listed below before attending any Event. 

•    Kings County (Seattle) 

•    San Francisco

•    Multnomah County (Portland) 

ASSUMPTION OF THE RISK. 

You acknowledge and agree to the following:

•   Participation in any Event includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to COVID-19. While Event rules and the personal discipline of other participants may reduce this risk, Connection Feast cannot prevent you from becoming exposed to, contracting, or spreading COVID-19 while attending any Event. Therefore the risk of serious illness and death does exist;

•    You knowingly and freely assume all such risks related to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID-19, even if arising from the negligence or fault of the Released Parties; and

•   You knowingly assume the risk of injury, harm and loss associated with the Event, including any injury, harm and loss caused by the negligence, fault or conduct of any kind on the part of the Released Parties.

DUTY TO SELF-MONITOR AND ENCOURAGED TO REPORT:

You agree to self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 (symptoms typically include fever, cough, and shortness of breath). We strongly encourage you to contact us immediately at letsconnect@connectionfeast.com if you experience any symptoms of COVID-19 or test positive for COVID-19 within 14 days after participating in an Event. You agree that if you notify us of such symptoms or test results, we may choose to notify the other individuals who attended the same Event, provided however, that no personal information or any other information that could be used to identify you will be shared with other participants.

LIABILITY WAIVER AND RELEASE OF COVID-19 RELATED CLAIMS:

You acknowledge that you derive personal satisfaction and a benefit by virtue of your attendance and/or participation at any Event, and that you willingly and voluntarily engage in the Event.

YOU HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE AND FOREVER DISCHARGE ANY AND ALL LIABILITY, CLAIMS, AND DEMANDS OF WHATEVER KIND OR NATURE AGAINST THE RELEASED PARTIES, EITHER IN LAW OR IN EQUITY, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY LAW, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES OR LOSSES CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE, FAULT OR CONDUCT OF ANY KIND ON THE PART OF  THE RELEASED PARTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DEATH, BODILY INJURY, ILLNESS, ECONOMIC LOSS, LOST WAGES, OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES, OR LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, WHICH YOUR HEIRS, ASSIGNEES, NEXT OF KIN AND/OR LEGALLY APPOINTED OR DESIGNATED REPRESENTATIVES, MAY HAVE OR WHICH MAY HEREINAFTER ACCRUE ON YOUR BEHALF, WHICH ARISE OR MAY HEREAFTER ARISE FROM YOUR PARTICIPATION OR ATTENDANCE AT ANY EVENT.
